Several lines asked to be quoted back while I was reading, but now they're hiding. *grumble* I did love Harry's indignation at James's suggestion that she faint in order to make a hasty exit, and then, after collapsing on top of the senora, deciding she might as well get in a few licks of her own (go, Harry!).

I would be honored and delighted to do so (especially since I keep coming up empty handed myself these days), but should best wait for something you want looked at in a couple weeks - starting New Job on Tuesday (!!!) and am trying to get a bit ahead at home this weekend as it will be a big change.

I was hoping for a full out catfight, but a strangling was good enough. ;) Probably best in retrospect that Jack stopped Harry...fingers crossed that James will be able to sort it all out!

Am enjoying vacation excessively, so far: writing/swimming/reading mostly.

Glad you enjoyed this bit. The second part is almost ready to post, and I've written a big chunk of the next chapter, too. It's going well.

Well, action has ensued with a vengeance. Jack dancing was a lovely picture. But now I must hurry on to find out what happens to him. Really, the man seems to have offended everyone of importance in the entire Spanish Main, or the whole world perhaps. Jack, Jack, I really hoped we were past all this. :)

I thought so too! That's one of my favorite scenes in the whole story: Jack dancing and Harry choking the life out of the señora!
