Yes, it worked. a little more violently than I anticipated, but it did work It won't be comfortable for the werewolves, but it will stop us from having to kill them. And it will definitely take them out of a fight. I should train everyone now, I suppose. No more live targets, though...

Listen, I just heard that Padma and Valerius have been injured. It didn't occur to me at the time, though I should have asked, but they must have been the people behind the bedcurtains at Thorne. Are they all right? Did you see them while you were there?

I'm glad everything's OK. Defence classes will become interesting for a while, then? That's not an easy target to hit.

It is Padma and Vi Valerius at Thorne. I haven't seen them. I don't know how they are, but I know it's serious. You can tell that just by watching Madame Pomfrey. They have been very quiet, and they aren't allowed visitors, if that is any indication.
I am worried about them.

No, it isn't. It will have to be added to all defence lessons now. We never know who will end up facing those werewolves. It's best to be prepared.

I was afraid that it was them at Thorne. Do you know what happened? I'm assuming that they were attacked. Do you know who did it? I'm going to go and try to speak to Poppy once I can get away from the lighthouse for awhile. I don't know if she'll tell anything if they aren't allowed visitors, though.

I haven't been told anything, just to be quiet when I'm anywhere near their beds. I think Snape brought them in. Have you read his post? He said they'd been attacked. That's all I know, Remus. I'm sorry.
