So I realized that about 90% of what I write is kind of pretensiously artsy and poetic, so I decided to stretch myself a bit and try a slightly more lighthearted H/D piece, and this the the result. Also, Luna guest stars, because she is awesome!

Summary: Harry's in denial. Silly boy.
A/N: Hey, look at that! It's that nebulous future timeline where Draco and Luna have both joined the Order and all the younger members are living in close quarters at 12 Grimmauld Place and on good terms with one another! Just go with it.
"I think you're being very silly, Harry."
He looked up Luna, who was flopped on the bunk above his- Ron's bunk- and peering down at him over the edge, nearly obscured by waves of ash-blonde hair.
Harry sighed. "How am I being silly, Luna?"
"It's obvious he's interested. If you didn't persist in being so thick, you could be shagging him right now instead of lying around moping."
Harry choked. "What?!?" he exclaimed, sitting up so fast he hit his head on the bunk. "Ow. Luna!"
She slid a bit farther over to see him better and pushed her hair back, and she looked like nothing so much as an enormous pair of concerned blue eyes. "Are you alright? That sounded painful... you shouldn't sit up so fast when you're down there."
"I am not bloody well alright! Luna!"
"You're not? Should I get someone? I'm terrible at medical magic."
"No! Luna, I'm not hurt, I just... don't say things like that!"
She blinked at him, looking faintly confused. "Why not? It's true."
"But you don't just go around talking about my secret lust for Draco Malfoy like it's a perfectly normal thing to chat about! It isn't the weather, Luna!"
The door to the room swung open, and a blond head poked inside, followed shortly by the slender body of a boy in wizard's robes. "Not much of a secret if you continue to holler about it at the top of your lungs like that, Potter," Draco drawled, leaning casually against the doorframe.
Luna- damn her, Harry thought- giggled and waved. "Hello, Draco!" she chirped, and hopped down from the bed. "I'll just be going, shall I?"
Draco raised an eyebrow. "Not planning to stay for the show?"
"There aren't going to be any shows of any kind!" Harry snapped. Both Draco and Luna ignored this.
"Maybe some other time," Luna answered lightly. "I'll fetch you boys for dinner if you're not down in time, and I'll knock. Loudly."
"You're a dear," Draco informed her, and he took her hand, bowed slightly, and kissed it. "My thanks."
Luna giggled again and breezed out of the room, winking at Harry as she left and making a point to shut the door behind her.
Harry eyed Draco nervously. "Um. What now?"
Draco tilted his head, appearing to consider this. "Well," he said after a moment, "I suppose you could try to deny what you said, but really, that would be rather ridiculous, especially since I was listening at the door the whole time..."
"You-" Harry began, but Draco interrupted.
"Or, you could be reasonable for once in your life, admit that it's true you've been lusting after me for months, at which point I tell you that I've been doing the same, and then we skip that whole troublesome denial business and get right to the torrid sex."
"I- wait, what?!?" Harry said, as his brain finally caught up with Draco's words.
Draco smirked and moved closer, slinking toward Harry in a way that left no doubt as to his intentions. Harry, for his part, unsure of whether to run to or away from Draco, compromised by not moving at all.
"Torrid sex, Potter," Draco reiterated, snaking one arm around Harry's waist and putting the other around his shoulders.
"Right," Harry managed, suddenly finding himself far from coherent thought. His left hand settled, of its own accord, on Draco's hip.
"Excellent," Draco remarked, steering Harry back to the bed. "I promise you, this will be far better than denial.
And then Draco kissed him, and Harry could already tell he was right.
