Pshaw. Lots of people wear white after Labor Day. That rule died years ago.

I'd still do #1, since being "out" is totally "in".

Currently a fan of these.

These are hot too.

and I've designed way too many shoes at reebok's custom shop I need to actually pull the trigger and order some.

If you want some shoes that are comfortable, stylish, and will always get you a compliment when you wear them...one word. Ferragamo They do cost a pretty penny, but I've had mine for 5 years, and they still feel new, and they've worn well. The thing about a really good pair of shoes, the older they get, the better they look. I'm not exaggerating when I say I get a compliment on them every single time I wear them.

I dunno, for some resaon I can't explain, I have a real hard time getting behind shoes that don't have laces.

I'm with you, Harry. Shoes without laces scream CEO-on-casual-Friday to me. TimD used to wear loafers all the time. With black socks. Eww.

Personally, I find Vans and Ben Sherman shoes to be the best and most comfortable.

there's white in your winter shoes, too. there's white everywhere!

i guess that rule made me very gauche last year on my birthday as i wore a mod white crocheted dress at my party.

that's too bad, 'cause those red, white, & blue ones are pretty sweet.

Ya, they were great for the summer. Just started to get tired of them. The brown ones are also a lot more comfortable.
