Official announcement from Dens that he + Alex quit Google this past Friday. While I like to think that I was a damn good engineer, my work counted for about 90% of the support they got from Google over the past two years, and that just wasn't enough to make much happen. I kinda respect the candid honesty about their feelings about the situation conveyed by the photo in their blog.

As for twitter coming up, you know twitter is founded by all the Blogger founders after they one by one left Google and reaggregated at obvious corp?

It's cool. I work for Google. :) There are a thousand things I love about the company and several things I think we kind of blow at. That's a fairly healthy balance, right?

I agree with the first post - they def. should have put more resources behind dodgeball. And it is a shame it went the way it did. On the flipside, welcome dens to the world of advertising for me. It is where it's AT. Silicon Valley is DEAD yo, it's all about MADISON AVE.
