that whole "It always feels like the screen is a wall between me and the other person" i totally agree with!

It's why i use Second life so much. I can talk to everyone, and change the way I look to suit my mood, do what i like, achieve something while doing it, be creative and use things other than words to portray a message and it feels more natural than a window with text! I guess its like in the old days when people played Txt Based games. Everyone played Txt games and then moved to Visual games. Thats what happening with chat programs.
