Harry/Hermione in GOF movie

Jul 10, 2005 22:49

According to a very lucky someone who saw a special early screening of the latest Potter movie "Goblet of Fire" he reports that there are more Harry/Hermione scenes than Ron/Hermione scenes. The report can be read at Mugglenet.com

BTW, I'm new here and I have just took my first bite of pumpkin pie and it is delicious!

First of all, welcome! :D

Just read that report, and I'm so happy about how the movie sounds -- with or without the shipping aspects. It is good that there's some H/Hr in it, too, of course.

Who knows until the the film actually gets released, but I just think that a smart director isn't going to commit one way or the other in terms of shipping -- unless JKR has flat out told him how the books will end. Doubtful to say the least.

Hopefully, Newell will follow Cuaron's example and give us some fine, subtle, and substantive interactions between H/Hr, even if he feels compelled to throw the R/Hr fanatics a flashy bone or two.

I'm getting kinda worried about that. In all the reviews I've read, the kiss scene is never mentioned. However, what was mentioned in one review and is really getting my goat is that the after-the-Yule-ball scene where Hermione reads Ron the riot act has been moved to the end of the movie. Granted, there still is final editing to do, but if this stays the same I think it will be extremely out of character for Hermione to ignore the issue for that long and then to bring it up after all that happens during the third task.

"I hate to say it, but even though they kept in all of the great Ron/Hermione issues (i.e. Krum), there's a lot of Harry/Hermione going on."

That's the exact quote from one of the articles they have posted...

This bodes well for us Pumpkinites! ^_____^ Though I'm having problems comprehending why Krum is just a R/Hr issue...

OMG I AM SO HAPPY!

;_; Last night I was so pissed at a review from it I read. OH MY GAWD.

Last night there was this thing where Hermione sounded like she was pining over Ron to ask her, he didn't, she was hurt, she cried.

I was like.. ":O!" BUT NOW I AM SO HAPPY!

I LOVE YOU GUYS. ;_;
