Why does my friend, who claims to be a H/Hr shipper, keep arguing with me about why it will never be canon?! As the clock ticks closer to 12:01 Saturday morning, we have been talking more and more about our HBP theorys which eventually gets on to what will be canon. Of course I argue H/Hr to the ends of the universe but Alex always has a comeback,

don't take it to heart. really, one's preference for the pumpkin pie ship does not need any relation to one's belief in the ships that canon will eventually sail. the important thing to remember is that there are thousands of others out there who feel the same way as you do about our ship. even if it doesn't actualize in canon, you can be sure that support groups will have rallied by then! :D

A lot of H/Hr shippers aren't holding their breath for any pumpkin pie canon ever. Rowling has made it too obvious about Ron and Hermione (one might think that she's trying to draw attention away from something else) so in their eyes H/Hr is otp but nothing will probably ever come of it.

Just because someone ships Harry and Hermione together doesn't mean that they think it'll actually happen in canon. Shipping it and believing that it'll be canon do not go hand in hand together.

in my opinion she's not a shipper if she says that the couple will not make it in the books. Does she even believe all the evidence?

I think a shipper is someone who can look at the books and find evidence for their ship.

One of my friends is a Hermione/Draco shipper. And even though JK flat out said it isn't going to happen she still can find her evidence and point it out to anyone that will argue with her.

IMO your friend is a fan of the ship, she just likes how they look, or how fan fic writers write them. That's my opinion. I'm sorry if I've gotten it all wrong.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH....Not Ron and Hermione!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but is she supporting Harry and Ginny as well???? Cause you know you have to have OBHWF....(One big happy Weasley family incase you didn't know what it meant)
