Grey's Anatomy Season finale pt 1
All finals craziness aside, I have to say I am going nuts right now over Grey's Anatomy. I'm so glad I didn't watch it last night when I was cramming for my final for this morning, because I would've been up all night with the excitment!!
All I can say is, if Burke dies, I am so emailing Shonda an angry letter. angry angry. Burke/Cristina are like the best couple on the show!!!!!!!! the only thing that Mer/Der has going for them is the fact that they're not together. If you can be together and still have such a dynamic relationship like burke/cristina, that's something.
I read some spoilers for GA a while ago about how one of the interns will be leaving the program...I'm betting it's izzy after this episode. She's so incredibly...emotional, although her performance in last night's episode was just top notch. Now that is good acting, as opposed to Ellen Pompero's usual lacklustur performances. I swear she must have slept her way up to that role, because in no way is she fit to be Meredith Grey. She's got one of those really annoying qualities that bad actors have where they keep saying things in the same tone progression, making everything sound flat and emotionless. She's ruined a lot of good lines. Even the speech last week about how Derek doesn't get to call her a whore, I mean, come on, even I could've done better than that! That's some of Shonda's best words at work. That's the only reason why it didn't suck too badly. But anyway, enough with my complaints about Meredith.
I'm just a little confused about what's going on in general. I mean, Why did Alex go along with Izzy's lie? isn't he famous for being brutally honest? why did Burke go along with it? just to spite his colleague? why did burke come back to the hospital via the parking lot when he'd left on a helicopter??? ack!
anyway, can't wait till tonight. :)
