I'm actually pretty_panther and not the curent mod of this joint. I noticed that thinkxpink deleted her journal and then discovered that all the links for this round of the bigbang have disappeared too, when I went to double check how many words long my draft had to be. I contacted a previous mod who gave me access to the mod journal

Oh well done. I'd been emailing/messaging everyone/anyone i could think of about this. Obviously not as well as you though. :-D

I signed up for it. I'm not doing very well though, only got a 1,000 words written down. So I'm unlikely to hit the 7,500 words by sept 30th first draft deadlien that was in the original rules.

Well, if more people stopped writing when they noticed things had dissapeared the deadlines might need tweaked for that, and given the circumstances I would be willing to do that because I faltered on my daily word goals when I saw the posts had gone myself.

When do you think you might be able to hit it?

Wow, daily word goals. You're so much more organised than me. Here's the deal, I feel I write strongly/quickly on inspiration. So I'd couldn't really hazard a guess as when I'd hit it by. If I suddenly come up with a great plot i could hammer it out of a few days/a couple of weeks. Lacking that. longer.

And come the weekend i'll have a prompt for another fest to work on. Not really juggled multiple fests before.

Hi there!

I signed up for this round of the bigbang and lightofdaye and myself noticed when the entries got deleted. We both checked out the mod's journal and were disappointed when we saw it was deleted.

I feel like things could progress with this round, but there may have to be some deadline tweaking, because I know I stopped writing when I saw that everything had been abandoned. Other people may be in the same boat in that respect.

I think the deadline tweaking is a good idea to be honest. I also stopped writing so much when I noticed what had happened. When do you personally think would be a good date for a new deadline? :)

Hm. Since there were several weeks when things were up in the air, maybe we could add 3-4 weeks onto the deadlines, so rough draft would be due at the end of Oct. and then all the other deadlines would follow after that? That's just a guess. If anyone has better suggestions then I'm sure we could all work something out.

I wasn't aware that she went, sad, but I guess she had her reasons.

Haven't been much around in this community because I signed up for a lot, and trying to complete everything by the deadline. Did start my het bb, but the plot wasn't working out. Like it often happens, I planned to write the whole story in two weeks, or the month, and ask for an extension to get it betaed. If the deadline would be pushed forward I would be so happy :D Hopefully I'll finish a bunch of things soon so I can start on this
