I am sorry to report that there just have not been enough submissions to make this fest viable anymore. I have had a few suggestions on how we could turn it around but I don't feel we have the numbers to make it work

Indeed, no blame can be attached to you. I feel still terribly guilty for dropping out.

Perhaps, something less ambitious than a big bang might be order?

that's so sad! (and I'm sorry I dropped out! If I knew it would have helped the fest I would have tried to deal with the issue i was having faster)

here's hoping maybe next year it will work out!

(maybe do something smaller? like a ficathon? or a mini fest? those seem more manageable)
