Rules & Timeline
2011 FEST RULES.
Mods reserve the right to add or change any of them at any time.
AUTHORS
If you're an author, your fan fiction must meet the following criteria in order to qualify for inclusion and accompanying art:
1. Fan fiction must be written by you and never before shared online.
2. Fan fiction must be at least 15,000 words long.
3. Fan fiction must have a completed plotline by the rough draft submission date. *
4. Fan fiction must be entirely completed and beta-ed by final draft submission date.
5. Fan fiction must be Harry/Female-centric:
-Gender-bending is acceptable as long as Harry stays male.
-Threesomes/moresomes are acceptable as long as Harry and at least one female are part of the pairing (e.g., M/F/F, M/F/M, etc.).
* Having a completed plotline means that:
-Your story has a beginning, middle, and an end.
-Your story arc has been planned through and recorded.
-You've written a minimum of 10,000 words.
-Every scene has either been written in full or drafted using bullets/key words/etc.
All fan fiction remains exclusive to the Harry Het Big Bang Archive until Monday, October 31, 2011. This means that you cannot repost your submission to your own website, LJ/IJ/DW, or anywhere else until October 31, 2011.

ARTISTS
If you're an artist, your fan art must meet the following criteria in order to qualify for inclusion:
1. Fan art must be created by you and never before shared online.
2. Fan art must be created specifically for the fan fiction it is illustrating.
3. Fan art cannot be of a higher rating than its fan fiction counterpart.
4. Fan art must be entirely completed and beta-ed by final submission date.
All fan art remains exclusive to the Harry Het Big Bang Archive until Monday, October 31, 2011. This means that you cannot repost your submission to your own website, LJ/IJ/DW, or anywhere else until October 31, 2011.
