OK, I'm alive and well. A little embarrassed maybe (*a lot* embarrassed, to tell the truth), but I'm all right. Not that I was ever in any danger to begin with.

Hey there Harry, welcome back! Did you enjoy your extra-long shore leave? :-))
I'm sorry to hear about the poor kahcha that didn't survive the encounter with your generator -I mean the small rodent you saw, they're called kahchas. They're so sweet, don't you think?
They look indeed a lot like terran bunnies, but as you noticed, unlike wild bunnies on earth, they aren't shy. And there's another difference: they don't procreate as abundantly as bunnies: on the contrary. Therefor kahchas are a protected species on Kelara IV and it's not allowed to hunt them. (Of course you didn't hunt it, it was just an accident!)

They certainly aren't. Those fangs unusually large incisors are another difference...

I *really* didn't mean to barbecue the bunny, er, cook the kahcha. Honest. And it's not like I ate it or anything.
We *have* left orbit of the planet by now, right? The entire Kelaran system?

Captain kathrynjaneway had an unfortunate reaction to the Kelaran mudbaths. It would be wise to postpone your interview for as long as possible.
