Harry/Ron Big Bang 2011 - Sign Up Post
Yes, we are all sad to hear that there won't be a bestmates_xmas, this year, so, to cheer you up, I will do this two days early, and you can start writing/arting Ron's birthday present on Harry's birthday.
You know you are going to be inspired by seeing Deathly Hallows, in November, you know there will be very little Harry/Ron in the Xmas fests, you know that bunny you were saving for bestmates_xmas can be stretched to 15,000 words.
Welcome to the by public demand sign up post for the 2011 harryronbigbang.
Just 15,000 words (or art equivalent) of the Bestest Mates ship that ever sailed the seven seas. With added absolutely no fest-pressure beyond love of the boys and making sure we aren't lured onto the rocks by grindylows.
Significant Dates
® August 1st 2010 : official sign-ups open.
® January 1st 2011 : draft scenes begging for art due.
® February 14th 2011 : all fics and art due.
And this year the official sign-up is anything from an 'I intend to go for it' post, to an 'I am absolutely doing this and would like to collaborate' post, so that artists can see who is in, and contact them right from the very beginning, to create a unique and rather exciting joint submission.
As last time, artists can contact writers, and not the other way around, and artists can produce stand alone work.
