Aflecks palace(Sp?) in Manchester - a unit based shopping center catering for alts.
Birmingham- Oasis another indie mall.
Also a variety of nameless market stalls (for cheap makeup in a Barry M style. Also for skater chains.
Badges? hmm didn't know they were still en vogue.

In Swansea I believe they have a choice between Blue Banana (which I know is a chain) and Twisted (which is a local one that is connected to a couple of other types of shop (the funk one and a second hand music one) and one of the nightclubs(that runs the main alt night)).

All the teenie goth types I know are aged 10 - 12 and supplied by their parents.

We have a Blue Banana here in Cardiff also. Most go there I think.

(In all fairness, so do I from time to time.)

There are a wide variety of places online as well depending on what people are specifically looking for.

Oasis in Brum as littleonionz says, and there is always a mope (in my day, the correct collective noun) in Blue Banana in town whenever I go in to look at clothes I can't fit any more and would look ridiculous in now..

My favourite independent designer in Brum by far is Psiclone. Lisa doesn't have the shop anymore, but she runs out of the rag market, and at various events like Whitby. She has always been synonymous with the scene here.

I should probably put up some links for Lickorishlatex, Venom & Bootle and Pennangalan because they are friends who are independent designers on the scene, and also for Leah at Spear Studio who does a lot of Newskool tattoo designs, despite the fact none of these are exactly what you are asking for...

The 20 year old rocker who makes my lunches says that he and his mates buy most of their stuff online.

When I go back to work at the end of April I can ask some for you, but I imagine that might be a bit late.
