i dont know anyone by the name of 'buss' but hal and i have the 2 best last names, as far as that class goes. (for everyone who doesn't know, that's Mr. Scissors and Mr. Hazard)
well see, you're red haired lauren, the other red haired lauren became irish/scottish lauren as based on her fiery personality and her affinity for alcohol (if you're reading this other red haired lauren, i do not imply anything insulting by my definition)
Strider is this old NES game, where you're a guy (Strider) who has a sword thing and has to fight the Yggdrasil tree 3 times. that's the only part relating to the joke, at least. but i know the name Yggdrasil tree from somewhere around the world in mythos stories- referesh my memory?
i'm doing well, i graduate in 2 weeks! where do you live? since ill actually have free time after i graduate, next semester i have vast free time to visit people, such as yourself, who i presently do not visit.
They are thoughts/ideas/convictions etc. etc. etc.
I'm not being moral or not being moral about it. I don't see how ideas can be universally moral. You can feed me all the philo-crapical stuff over and over again but I don't read into it that far.
I don't reject it, I just believe some hold it on higher levels than others and like all things, it evolves.
so you see universality as necessary for morality?
as a lot of people agree that morals are man-made, but that's not a reason not to accept them. i.e. morals are a socio-biological trait that evolved within the human species to ensure the survival of our species. so given that, why be moral, if you can get away with not being moral? why not take advantage of the system- let everyone else be moral, and ill act 'morally' when it suits my wants and goals? or is that exactly how you should be?
They're not synonymous? Dangit. If only David had said that, he would be a MASTER-RHETORICIAN! AHHAHHHHAHAHHHwait that's not the joke. He would be a SUPER-DEBATER. No... It's coming...
i'm not presently looking for debates, specifically. i'm interested in what thoughts people have in their normal everyday life, not just a philosophical standpoint.
oh angela, why do you never seem to reveal yourself until others reveal themselves to you first? (feel free to replace angela with david there, if you find it fitting)

in fact, by definition of 'moral' you can't even say the phrase 'you shouldn't be moral' - because morals are "should" or "ought" statements.
"you shouldn't be moral" is a moral statement, telling me what i should do.
but honestly, what are your reasons for rejecting morality?
