Small Hare's new word

A 'tishy' is something that is small and good to eat. Strawberries and grapes are tishies, and so (curiously, for such a little boy) are Bran Flakes, his current favourite breakfast. It took us a while to work out what a tishy actually was, but clearly there is a need for such a word (or there is as far as Small Hare is concerned ( Read more... )

Hey, he's tasting the natural sugars in the bran flakes, which as you know are the breakdown products of the complex starches. Soy ou are doing a good job with keeping his palate unspoiled, GO YOU!!

"Tishy". I really like that word. Of course there's a need for it, much more efficient than saying "small-and-good-to-eat Thing" and more accurate than "tasty", which conveys nothing of the quidity of the "tishy".

Do green olives count as tishies? If they do I'll be having a little bowl of tishies with a glass of chilled white wine this evening :-)

Never got to grips with Bran Flakes personally - All Bran I like, but Bran Flakes as a tishy I find slightly pishy. Boom Boom!
