What is it you're doing? I've never seen anything like this before...

Oh! You usually just tie the shirts...because that way, the dye dyes the rope around the shirt, not the actual fabric and that makes patterns. Of course, there's more to it than that, but that's it at the simplest level. Anyone could learn it!
