EXPECTATION

I really debated with myself what my word focus for the coming new year might be. But January 1 God led me to find my word.. It is EXPECTATION.

Where does disappointment come from? Listening to Nadia Bolz's short audio BLESSING FOR A NEW YEAR, and reading the printed transcript of her words I thought about my expectations and disappointments over

As we are deep in winter this side of the pond...i will send you a snow ball of hugs in the hope they make you smile love and hope....for the year ahead.The word hope which makes me think always of you, the word you planted amongst my soul all those years ago in the cabin. Which has kept me going through these aweful past two years...As always take care..XX

You did indeed make me smile! We are in the midst of deep arctic freeze at present. Your post warmed my heart. I've lost count of the years since "the cabin". I've lost connection with all but a couple of the folks who dwelt there on the screen. I still see Stryder on Facebook, sometimes Mare pops her head in. Sadly Billy and I are no longer friends. The rest of the folks are vanished into the ethers. Some have passed into the summerland, others have passed from my memory. I am glad to hear from you, to know you still live and breathe. Winter will not last forever. In our imaginations it's perpetually spring on a white sandy beach at the edge of a blue lagoon. Press on dear one!
