A/N: I just had to. I have changed some of the events into my own and left some from the original plot, so I hope you give this a chance. This also comes from Big Bang's song "Stupid Liar", it striked up some inspiration as well. Very nervous to post this,  I really liked the movie.

Prologue: Memories

Ji Yong’s heart raced as he climbed each step up to the school roof, pushing his thick rimmed glasses towards his nose every once in a while. It was a murky day with remnants of the fog from last night’s rain surrounding the atmosphere. The school bell had just rung as he heard them leaving the area, the sounds slowly echoing away. His hands shook as he tried not to drop the cake that he was holding. It was a light frosted cake with strawberries lined up against the edge. Pink sprinkles artistically against the surface of the cake, giving it a sheer glimmer. Ji Yong had loved coking since he was little; he was very fond of sweet things.

His head pounded with fear and anxiety. He knew what was coming but it was too unbearable to let it pass. Ji Yong longed for such an opportunity; he had waited three years for this. Since he was graduating in a few days, he had to give it a go and let it out.  He knew well that this was sin. It was wrong. But he could only wait so much longer.

Reaching the dirty metal door, he rested his back against its cool surface. Beads of sweat had formed on his forehead. Ji Yong nervously glanced at his watch before looking down at the round pastry and smiled weakly before placing his hands on the rough handle and twisting it in a soft motion.

There he was. Sitting against a concrete peg, causally smoking a cigarette as the white puffs blew away with the light breeze. Dark strands of hair tousled in perfection as earphones hung loosely on each side. The tie that went with the uniform was messily adjusted around his neck as a silver chain hung from it. The boy had his legs slightly apart as it laid flat on the ground.  Ji Yong had caught his breath and almost dropped the cake as the beautiful sight.

“S-Seung Hyun?” he choked out softly, shifting his legs uncomfortably.

It had just started to lightly drizzle when the older boy looked up and met his eyes. Ji Yong’s heart stopped again as he immediately broke the glance and dropped his head. “I had-had something to say...” he continued.

Seung Hyun stood up and removed one of his earphones. “What is it?” he asked as he dropped the small bud of the cigarette in the ground.

Ji Yong hesitated and shuffled closer the older boy. He closed his eyes and clamped his fist before spitting out, “I-I like you” as a loud confession. It seemed that time had stopped but the rain had begun to drop slowly. “Sorry, I just-just had to tell you....” he continued, his hands becoming shaky again.  “I know.....all the girls want you, and-and you don’t like guys....but I wanted to te-tell you before graduation...” Ji Yong stuttered.

Seung Hyun just tilted his head and rolled his eyes, trying to listen to the idiot without falling asleep. He skipped all the classes today in hopes of having a better day but he was just ruining what was left of it.

The younger smiled weakly before meeting his gaze again, “That’s all....I just had to get it out, so don’t mind me...I made this cake yesterday” Ji Yong said as he pushed the cake in Seung Hyun’s hands, giving him a generous smile. He wanted to say so much more. Ji Yong wanted to say that he had poured his heart out making that pastry spending day and night earning enough money for its ingredients. Looking up various books in search of the perfect recipe, but he only managed a “I’ll go...” before turning around and walking towards the door.

“Yah, Kwon Ji Yong stop right there” Seung Hyun called as he placed the cake aside and putting his hands in his pockets.

The younger stopped as he twisted his head back before facing the other again.

“Come here.....quickly!” the older called as he motioned his hands back and forth. He sighed before starting, “Is that really all?” he asked Ji Yong.

“You’re satisfied with that?” Seung Hyun attacked another question as he reached for the strawberry dessert.

“Seung Hyun...” Ji Yong said, unable to control his body as his knees weakened, trying hard not to fall right there.

“You want to sleep with me, don’t; you?” the other boy asked with a grin on his face. “You jerk off thinking about me, right?” he asked again.

“What? No!” Ji Yong defended, ashamed of himself of even thinking of confessing.

“Aigoo...you can tell me!” the older laughed as he gently slapped his shoulder. “It’s okay” he assured.

“Seung Hyun....aren’t you upset?” Ji Yong found himself asking, still confused and flushed.

The other waited sometime before starting again, “Upset? Fuck yeah, I’m upset......so fuck of and die, before I puke at your face, goddamn faggot!” Seung Hyun said, in a controlled voice as his dark eyes grew fearful.

In a matter of seconds, he smashed the cake right into Ji Yong’s face and spat some saliva before leaving him on the roof top. It hit the younger like a arrow right through his heart as he tried to get the icing off his glasses. Tears accumulated along the rim of his eyes as he stumbled against the rough ground, scraping his frail skin. The rain had started to pour hard as the thunder roared loudly.

Ji Yong had become deaf as he blocked out the sound and crawled into a ball, sobbing  at top of his voice.

Reality can be harsh, but love hurts even more.

Rin: What did you think? I am not sure about this :/ Ah.....I'm scared.....
