I know I had the worse time ever because of the color which refused to show up. Also be careful with the bg pic (not the header). It works in a really weird way.

I've used the code you sent me as a template and changed the colours and pictures' URL.. then I copied and pasted the codes into the custom CSS section.

The background works fine, but my header is gone TTATT;;; I also wanted to get rid of the Tags box.. orz

In theory if you copy-paste the code in the right place with changing only the colors, it
should be fine. Make sure your header is the right size and that the url is correctly
written and accepted by LJ. I put mine on my own site for exemple. Maybe it's what's not working.

I don't know about the tag box, I can't help except for changing colors ^^; sorry!
