Okay, so this is something I've been planning to do for a while but haven't got a chance to. For those of you in the know, Haruhi has found out about the premise of her show: that she's something like a god. Now, it's never stated in the anime what her powers are or her background. Was the world created three years ago? Did she make history up

Haruhi has felt bad about that ever since it happened. D: It was kind of a lapse of judgement on her part, and she realizes that. Now that there's time between then and now she's like, "WHAT THE HELL DID I DO?! I DON'T EVEN LIKE LAHARL!"

But if you ever want some IC action in terms of powers being controlled and such, Washu would probably be the best person, as well as for analyzing and helping her learn her powers.
That way you won't have to do a lot of assuming and stuff :O
And no, it's not because Washu wants to experiment on her, course not.

Anyway, I won't go over the "when did the world begin" stuff, 'cause people have already said stuff about that. Besides, I haven't read the manga yet, even though I have the first volume, so I'm largely uninformed in that area, so I'll leave it to others.
As for her powers, if Haruhi were on her own world, I don't think she would have any restrictions. She would literally be able to do anything and everything, as unfathomable as that is for a normal human being to imagine. After all, she is GOD, and you can't get much more powerful than God herself. As it is, she doesn't seem to have any restrictions even without knowledge of what she is. She can unconsciously change the world, and unconsciously destroy it as well. Conscious awareness of her abilities would... probably be bad, given her bossy personality and such.
As far as what she can do in Somarium... well, I'd leave that largely up to the mods. It's their world, after all. However, I think godly beings can influence Somarium, but not directly ( ... )
