Ok i just saw a post on a friends page(kaine_maxwell) and clicked on your name to make sure i got named spelled correctly.
One idea is to see if you can find pvc strips of some sort.Check out local hardware stores(ace hardware,lowes or similiar places).
You will need a way to heat the pvc.If you can try to work in a well venliated area that will not easily catch fire(workshop or outside with no combustibles near by).Clean the pvc strip of any debris by lightly sanding it and then cleaning it.Warm the pvc so it is flexible.Shouldn't take to much heat.Then if you can with gloved hands just shape it into the form you want.It might take several tries to get the desired shape and thickness and similiar properities but once you do and the pvc cools you will be happy with it.

Sorry forgot to mention.You can easily shape the ends after it is also warmed to desired sharpness.Should avoid any really sharp edges for the reason of cons will not allow sharp pointed objects(aka sharped like a weapon) onto their premises.So keep that in mind when making it.

If You Can't Do PVC or Metal

In art stores they often sell strips of plastic that you can boil in water and reshape more easily than melting PVC (which is tricky).

My boyfriend rocks at making weapons I'm sure he would be willing to make it for you or give you suggestions and help. A good way to make it exact size and still fit in any car is to make two pieces that connect together.
