Likes: Literature, reading, writing, playing the piano, playing computer games (shoutouts to anyone here who plays Guild Wars). I'm a remarkably sedentary person. What else? Oh, I like - chicken and tea. Also the occasional coffee, but for some reason hot coffee gives me a headache, so I'm restricted to the little tin cans. Animal wise, I like kittens. They're adorable <3
Dislikes: Betrayal, people entering my room without my permission, prawns, oysters, math.
In your own words, give a general description of your personality: I'm a generally sedentary person who'd rather stay at home than go out playing sports, although I'll very gladly spend time with my close friends. I don't like seeing people/animals hurt, either.
Hobbies/Interests: As mentioned - literature, reading, writing, playing the piano, and playing computer games.
Strengths: I like to think I'm intelligent, creative and loyal. I've been told I have a really good intuition for reading people, and that I have a good singing voice.
Weaknesses: Math. Also the fact that I tend to be very slack if I think something isn't worth doing. Which is probably why I don't do well at math, to be perfectly honest. I also have a temper. It's not a supremely quick-to-flare one, but when it does flare, I get sarcastic and snippy and attempt to rip the person to shreds verbally.
Goals for the future: Survive the hell week that is the essay season. That aside, I think I might like to be an English teacher someday.
Fears: I am horribly afraid of losing people I love, and I'm afraid of not being able to see. More mundanely, I'm scared of flying insects that aren't butterflies or moths. I'm OK with them if they can't fly, but anything that gets too close still warrants a shriek or two.
Leader or Follower: I am perfectly content to follow if I think the leader can lead. I don't want to be the one in charge, usually. If I feel that I'm the only one capable of leading, I'll take over.
Outgoing or Shy: Depends on situation.
Pessimist, Optimist, or Realist: Optimist on life in general, realist about things like plans and organizing and stuff. Will tomorrow be a better day? Probably. At the very least, it'll be a new day, and that's good. Been planning a party for a month and the speaker system decided to throw a tantrum last minute? Yep, don't worry, I'm sure people won't mind. Trying to plan a huge 21st birthday party one day before the event? No, it won't work, unless a miracle happens. Really. If said miracle happens, come tell me.
Emotional or Calm: I think the word for me is 'sentimental'. I'm mostly calm, but certain things just send me into buckets of tears.
Impulsive or Cautious: Cautious.
Mature or Immature: Mature. I hope. Except when I'm feeling silly. But mostly mature.
Energy Level: Average?
Any pets? If yes, what kinds? Nope, no pets.
Are you regularly involved in any school clubs/sports? How active are you? (Or if you're out of school, which ones were you in?) I'm currently busy organizing something for the 20th anniversary of mine.
Do you enjoy playing sports? If so, which ones? Are you good at them? I'm a nice sedentary person. I like strolls, but I'm not going to run around under the hot sun playing sports.
Time traveler, alien, esper, slider... or god? I wouldn't want to be a god, and I'm not sure about being an alien. That leaves time traveler,esper, or slider. I'm pretty cool with either of those, I think - I don't travel well, and I get jet lag, and I'm not sure I want to experience the temporal/astral version of that. On the other hand, I'm not sure I want to have to continually block out people's thoughts, if you're talking about telepathy in general, and I'm also not really into destroying huge translucent giants, if you're talking about Itsuki's variation. But I could deal with any of them.
What would you change about the world? World peace would be lovely.
Do you believe in supernatural phenomena? If so, which ones, and if not, why not? I think I'm in a state of suspension of disbelief more than anything else. There are a lot of unexplained mysteries in this world, and who knows where they come from?
Is the glass half-empty or half-full? If I'm thirsty, it's going to be empty either way. Seriously, though? Depends on my mood.
Are you easily susceptible to blackmail? Not really.
If you could choose to be any Haruhi character for a day, who would it be? I'm not sure.
