[It didn't take long for Tamaki to realize what was going on. He dropped the comm. as he ran out the door, opening up her own door in a hurry.]

Haruhi!

[He noticed her under her blanket, walking over to her and hugging her. He tried to calm her down.]

[Admittedly, Patchy can be a sucker for cute frightened people and wanting to protect them, although that might be because she has almost no fears. When your family includes an extra-childish vampire who can devastate everything ever, you don't fear a mere thunderstorm very readily. Library fires though, are still not much fun for the poor gal.
