I always wondered about your musical background. Haydn bores the shit out of me, too. His stuff seems to be full of in-jokes that don't always make for good music. I love Bach, though his keyboard works aren't always satisfying to me; his vocal stuff ... I could do that for the rest of my career. You do realize there are a lot of good hemiolas in Baroque music, right? ;) I LOVE the impressionist stuff.

I'm curious, when did you start piano? How much do you still play? Do/did you perform at all?
