I was just in a hostel in Cardiff, and the floor and walls were both thin and creaky. The guy in the room above mine got up at 6am EVERY FUCKING MORNING and woke me up with his goddamn creaking floor.

And then... seagulls. Fighting over food. Right outside my window.

I feel your pain.
