UGH. I just want to go home, but nooo, PCR took forever, gel is taking forever, I just want to GO HOME AND EAT. And nap. Or just go to bed. I'm tired and somewhat discouraged, since PCR hasn't been working for my and my boss essentially told me yesterday "Well, just keep doing it until it works. Change different things until it works for you

That's PCR for you though. Still happens to me once in awhile... You need to pray to the PCR gods.

Yeah. Also, come up with a better extraction process. Fortunately, Post-doc Jason is on my side and extremely helpful!

Good! I joined a lab here at UNC last spring and I'm studying molecular evolution in Bacterial plant pathogens and Drosophila. My advisor's fantastic. The husband and puppy keep me happy outside of work. :)
