Yes! Do talk to me about your trip! You said your ATL visit would be early-Augustish, right? I should be around then.

Yes, we will probably be through Atlanta around August... uh... not sure, honestly. First week, most likely. Some time after August 1 and before August 7. Yes. So, first week of.

Youyouyou! Let me know when you get to Santa Cruz. I know that you'll probably be really busy, but we should do things!

Yes! I will. We will be there a week in July, probably 15-22 or so, to look at places and talk to various people and get our photo IDs taken and stuff. And then we'll be gone again until early September. Classes don't start until the 24 of September, so if I don't see you in July I will definitely see you then. Are you around for a lot longer? Are you considering moving away? I don't remember, I think we had some kind of conversation like that, but I forget...

I will be there in July! I will still be there in September-- I may move as far away as Scotts Valley (a whole... five minute drive), but I'll be in the Santa Cruz area.

Hey--I know this is totally out of the blue and random and you can totally say no if it's not interesting or possible, but... as I mentioned in this entry, my bunny/bunnies (we are probably going to give one of them away) need/s a place to live while we are on our roadtrip, from July 15 to September 7 or so. I don't know what your living situation is like, or if you like rabbits, or whatever.. but would you possibly be willing to do this? We would, of course, bring lots of food and hay and litter and reimburse you anything you had to buy, as well as give you our eternal gratitude. Let me know--and again, I totally understand if this is not a possibility.

Thanks!

Ha ha ha. I saw Mary a few weeks ago (back in ye olde TC) and she asked what I'd learned in this lab, and my first reply was "Not to work with membrane proteins." And she said, "yeah, but I told you that!"

Oh, if only I'd listened...
