I finally sent off the application for another year of Bafög (a special kind of student loan from the state) and a letter to the youth welfare office, so the Bafög office gets the neccessary information about my father (with whom I never had any kind of contact), last Thursday. reminds me of the time I had to send my insurance papers again..and those immatriculation forms....

Nope, winter semester. They granted me a whole year last year. Considerung who'd me my Maths lecturer, I think I'd kill myself if I'd started in the summer semester.

I'm really proud of my Bafög office, because the correspondence was, considering they're an office, fast and as far as I know, no letters disappeared. Of course, me throwing my letter in their mail box personally on Thursday evening and getting a reply on Tuesday, while emloyees are on strike no less, is like they reply with the speed of light. *snorts* Just makes me suspicious, if you ask me.

weird...I´m winter semester, too, and also for a ful year, but they want my report back til the end of July

well, the office is fast - I got my bafög report faster than a friend of mine who applied nearly a month before me, but with the bescheid came a note telling me to send my insurance stuff again...which was kinda weird, because in order to enrol on the university I had to had my insurance papers and in order to apply for bafög I had to had my immatriculation papers (meaning that I would have my insurance stuff ready)

I don´t think failing all of these (which would be the result of me doing them) would make you feel better^^
