Remember what I told you last time…? Well, it’s gotten worse. There are still-healing gashes and pink scars covering only a few inches inside my left forearm. I think I’ve done a good job of hiding it, but people are starting to suspect. Wearing long sleeves and decorative crap doesn’t help either, obviously.
Riku’s taken the most notice. I don’t act any different than usual; I’m always the same dork that everybody seems to love. But sometimes I catch him leaning over just far enough to try and see the inside of my arm. He’s very subtle about it, but knowing him as well as I do, I can tell he’s trying to figure me out.
Well, good luck, Riku. You may be my best friend, the person I tell everything to, but I’ll never tell you about this.
