An addendum to yesterday

There are a few things I forgot to mention yesterday that might put things in perspective in terms of the decisions the owners of the Rescue Mission have made. Their reasoning for charging people to live in the mission are as follows:

1. Because of the hurricane, most of their donor base has been displaced. Therefore, they're in need of funds.

One of the Oregon universities went down there, too, and they broadcast home video of it on the news, and it was very, very sad. I mean, the clip was mostly about the kids who went down and how lots of college students are doing it, but still, you can't miss the destruction in the background. I kind of wish I could go and do something like that, actually. Except, I'd probably be as pissed as you if I did.

Anyway, the real point was that I thought of you when I saw the clip, and I miss you. :(

I miss you, too. :( My mom has been tossing around the idea of visiting Portland this May after I get done with school, so if we end up able to follow through with that, I will definitely let you know ASAP!

Oh my goodness...could it be? The one, the only ... ALLISON??? (formerly known as "Voodoo" -- bet you haven't heard that name in ages!) I found an old letter from you a few months ago. I think I may have tried to email you but I had an old address and it came back to me. I don't remember when that was. I miss you -- it's been, what, three years? Thereabouts? Anyway, I was browsing through some old "Newsies" stuff on the web today (reminiscing) and I found you. So I thought I'd come by and say HELLO!

Oh my gosh! Wow, I haven't heard from you in ages! How have you been? I added you to my flist, so now you can read more than just the lame non-friends only stuffs. I hope you're doing well and I'll try to email you soon so we can get caught up. :D
