Choose your couple!! Featuring: Kira Izuru
Ever seen those 'choose-your-own-adventure' books? Well, this is my take on that. There's three possible pairings and more than eight possible endings. It's very simple and I didn't really write much, but later on I might flesh it out and include more pairings and endings, we'll see.

PART I
One day, Kira was working in his office quietly when he noticed that he was almost done with his work. But, Gin-taichou was still working hard, but then again, he'd promised he'd go out with his friends tonight, and leaving early would give him tight to prepare.
What should Kira do?
1. Stay with Gin (GO TO PART II)
2. Go with his friends. (GO TO PART IV)
PART II
"Do you need help, taichou?"
"Aw, tha's very sweet of ya, Izuru."
Kira blushed and moved closer so he could help his Captain with his work. Soon, however, he felt his Captain's fingers ghosting close to his neck and Gin's breath right next to his ear.

PART III
"Ta-taicho..."
"Shh....Izuru-chan..."
Izuru stayed still as Gin kissed gently along his neck, soon moving away his kimono and kosode to kiss along his collarbone.
"T-taicho...!!"
"You're so cute, Izuru-chan~"
That night, Kira didn't leave the office of the 3rd Division

PART IV
Kira stood and hurried out of there, before Gin could ask anything else of him. He didn't dislike his captain, it was just that...he could be a bit odd at times.
Arriving home, Kira hurried to shed his uniform and dress in a simple yukata when someone rang the doorbell. Opening the door, he was surprised to see Renji there.
"Renji! What a surprise!"
"Hey, I thought I'd be a gentleman once and come pick you up."
"Oh, that's so sweet of you. But I'm not ready yet..."
"Well...we could always just stay here...." Renji blushed a bit.

PART V
"...alright, I don't feel like drinking much today anyway." Kira giggled softly and let Renji inside.
Together, they poured a couple of drinks and began talking about their day, how their respective divisions were and about their captains.
"Hey, Kira. Would you ever go out with Ichimaru?"
"Oh, goodness! No! I don't like him that way...."
"Then....would you go out with me?"
1. Yes (GO TO PART VI)
2. No (GO TO PART XII)
PART VI
Kira leaned closer and pressed his lips softly against Renji, hoping that would suffice as an answer. Renji moaned softly and wrapped his arms around Kira, laying down with him on the couch.
That night, neither lieutenant left Kira-fukutaicho's room.

PART VII
"...We can't leave our friends hanging..." Kira said.
Renji sighed softly and nodded, forcing a smile.
Kira hurried getting dressed and walked along with Renji to the regular bar they went to, surprised that everyone was already there.
"Sorry we're late!"
"That's alright, we saved ya some seats. Sit wherever you like."

PART VIII
Kira smiled sheepishly at Shuuhei as he took a seat next to him. Shuuhei grinned dashingly at him, making Izuru's cheeks turn a little pink.
"How was work today, Kira?"
"It was okay."
They talked about nothing and everything at the same time. Izuru always felt at ease with Hisagi and enjoyed his company very much.
As the night went on, some people lost a bit of control of the alcohol they were taking and ended up extremely drunk, like Renji.
"Poor guy, someone should take him home."

PART IX
Iba offered to take Renji home while the rest stayed and continued to chat. Soon, Hisagi and Kira were the only ones left.
"I'll walk you home," Hisagi offered, and Kira couldn't say no.
Once they reached Kira's place, they talked a bit more on Kira's doorstep.

PART X
"Would you like to come in Shuuhei?"
"Oh! Uh, I dunno....you see....I don't want to be rude..."
"What do you mean?"
"You see....ok, I'll just say it...I like you, Kira Izuru...."

PART XI
"I like you too....Hisagi...." Kira blushed as he said that.
Shuuhei grinned widely and invited himself inside, kissing Izuru softly.

Renji sighed and hung his head. "That's alright I guess."
Izuru hugged Renji gently and let go. "But, you're still my precious friend."
Renji smiled and hugged Kira back.

Izuru offered to take Renji home, at least Renji could still walk but he was mumbling incoherent things the whole way.
"'zuru, I love you....be my boyfriend?"

"I'll see ya at work, Hisagi."
"Yeah...see ya..."
For some reason, Shuuhei looked a bit crestfallen but Kira ignored it, tomorrow would be a full day of work.

"I'm....I'm sorry, Hisagi....I just can't...."
Shuuhei sighed and tried to smile, failing. Turning around, Hisagi walked away, leaving Kira standing on his doorstep.
Izuru sighed and went inside, tomorrow would be a full day of work.

Izuru blushed as he looked at a sobered up Renji. Gently, Renji leaned down and kissed his friend softly. Izuru kissed back, glad that he had such a good friend for a lover.

Kira shrugged it off, thinking Renji was just drunk and speaking nonsense. He took him home and put him to bed, arranging his covers like a mother would. He loved Renji dearly, but only as a friend.
As he walked out of Renji's house, he noticed another person standing in the moonlight, hair shining silver.
"Taicho...."

PART XX
Kira turned around and began walking home. He had a lot of stuff on his mind, and he was sure that tomorrow would not be enough to solve it all.

"Taicho!" Kira called after him, making the man turn around in surprise.
"Maa~ Izuru-chan, taking a late night stroll?"
"Not exactly..."
"Well, would you care to join me, then?"

Gin offered a mysterious smile and gestured at Kira to follow. Blushing lightly, Kira followed after his captain, the only man he would follow to the end of the world; even if it meant selling his soul to the devil.
