Thoughts/reactions, written as I watched:
Has the style of the animation changed slightly in this? We open with a shot of Tezuka (♥), and he has HUGE eyes. Just like he kind of does in the manga, actually.
....he also looks kind of morose (?) after being interrupted in his speech, and Taka-san pats him on the shoulder a bit. (Geez, I’ve really missed Seigaku.)
About two to threes minutes into the episode, Fuji’s and Tezuka’s responses to being scolded by Oishi were voiced perfectly.
They kept in the whole segment where Eiji and Oshitari go around introducing members of each team. I think bits and pieces were added/changed here as well --- for example, Atobe actually answering Oshitari when he asks about his hair, and Tezuka being interrupted in the middle of another 'Yudan sezu ni ikou'. xD
*grins like an idiot the first time Kura gets a line* (Three guesses as to what he says? ^_^*)
Was Inui Juice always....colored like this? The color’s really....swirly, for lack of a better word, and the shading makes it looks like it’s part of an alternate dimension or something....
They have Oishi being the first to be taken out --- because Higa Chuu manages to poison him slip the hot sauce into his food, I think?
There’s this really dramatic and pensive music that starts to play in the background when Atobe drinks his coffee (and Tezuka, of course, has that one line that made 40.5's list of top ten most amusing scenes). Afterwards, the rest of Seigaku clap for him.
As much as I would rather disregard what comes afterwards, I really did like Inui's yakiniku speech. We got to focus in on him for a while, and he sounded really into his topic; I think I had to replay the segment to actually listen to what he was saying, since all I could think the first time around was, "♥!". This was also where the OVA added that screencap above, so, yeah.... ^_^*
Then there’s another rare shot of Kaidoh lecturing Inui, for a change. (Though, maybe this part was all in Inui’s imagination?)
The next scene --- just, well, WTF? Never would have thought it possible for them to change it in a way that makes me want to disregard it even more, but they did manage it. And, to top it off, Tezuka was also sitting on the wrong side of the table, making the physics of it all rikutsu ja nai to begin with.... *continues to grumble*
On the plus side, another change they made was Fuji was never being eliminated, so that near the end it actually ends up being just him and Tezuka at the Seigaku table. Note that they're still sitting on the same side of the table, no less. ♥.
XDD This was definitely not in the manga, either ---
*the scene where smoke is filling the restaurant*
Tezuka: That jar….why does it have Inui’s name on the side?
Fuji: Could this be….Inui’s curse?
Inui: *offscreen, but cackling evilly in the background*
Ending credits played to that yakiniku song that was written along with 'Dear Prince'. Nothing too spectacular....
But afterwards --- oh, afterwards ---- about FIVE FULL MINUTES of preview clips from the Finals themselves, taken pretty evenly from all five matches there.

Would anyone actually like me to upload the Chinese-subbed version I have? I'd imagine that the RAW will be out in the day or two, but, if you want something to go on in the meantime....just let me know.
