Sorry for being missing for the past few days! :P Things haven't exactly been festive (in the traditional sense) here at my house, but, then again, it's kind of hard for them to be, in a place that still has palm trees and thunderstorms at this time of year. XD No, we don't, but some people do. For example, there's a shopping mall close to my house that has lights all over their palm trees. ^_^*

Ah, but you guys have a more reasonable chance of getting snow...so maybe it's more of a tradeoff? :P

(My first thought was, "Isn't it already the 1st in Germany?" I had to remind myself that there isn't THAT much of a time difference. XD)

(I think the Japan/Australia people will be the first. Usually, though, all I remember is that over here we're the last to everything. XD)
