I LOVE THEM BOTH TOO. And I'm extremely confident that Federer will definitely equal that stupid record - he deserves to. ♥

I was biting my nails / not breathing towards the very end. ;_; But what a great way to start off the Tennis year. :D

:P I honestly don't care if he breaks it only to have Rafa break it again a few years later (that would be kind of awesome, actually) -- so long as he can get the pressure of it off his chest. *_*

The fifth set still makes me twitch thinking back on it. But, yeah, I can tell I'm definitely going to be following tennis obsessively this year. :)

I second your post.

I want Roger to win SOMETHING as soon as possible! He needs it!

I second this. Dubai is up next, yes? :)

(...Though, for starters, I just want him to cheer up.)

*shares here tissues*

I thought the only thing that detracted from the match was how nervous Roger seemed to be in spots of it (the very beginning and very end, especially). Still can't really shake off the feeling that it had been his to lose, and, oh, ARGH, that fifth set. o_0

Forget Wimbledon. I just want him to...not have to cry. :(

:P I suppose one consolation is that they've kept their joint Grand Slam streak going -- according to one of my commentators, they've now won 15 of the last 16 GSs between them (with Djokovic getting lucky that one time ^_^*). That's got to be some kind of record in itself, right? ♥
