There is a crinoline under it. Though it looks *much* better after hemming. (dragging on the floor keeps it from laying nice)

You could always just make one for wearing to fancy events. :)

I think I may want to get a second one made in a different color (burgundy? green?) now that we have the pattern all figured out. :D I can then wear it to Ren Faires.

Oooh, gorgeous!! I love that the sleeves are lined in blue. (And the style actually looks very much like the more recent of my Eowyn costumes. The neckline's a bit different, but the cut of the dress is nearly identical. I know that's the point, but anyway. ;)
