I know EXACTLY how you feel Mike. That's why I've been crazy with going to meetings and sacrificing my precious me time to hang out with other people. Hoping against hope that this one club I'm joining isn't too hardcore that they don't like me and stuff. I was worried that I was sacrificing who I am in order to be liked by the other people on the floor, but in reality I haven't really. It's just my dorky side will come out when I'm with other people than them. Still, it is kind of lonely when the girls aren't around and neither are Chip, Satan, Dave, or the "less cool" guys I tend to hang out with ( ... )

Ahhh! STOP BEING SAD! We have to focus on the positive - things may not be easy for some people at first, but I'm sure you'll end up being fine. Loneliness is a state of mind. Everything's a state of mind. Think of it that way. LOL. I don't make much sense.

I don't know what I'd be doing if it weren't for the internet (met David), and I didn't end up lucky and having an awesome roomate (my lover, Abby).

Chin up, dude. It'll get better. Hell, I get lonely, too. I can't hang out with those two ALL the time :/

It'll get better Mike. You are an amazing guy once you get to know you and I know you'll make friends. I didn't have a lot at first besides my roomie but now I have a group of girls that are all like me or are a version of one of my friends at home. (I even met a Joe Pitzo who lives on the sixth floor) I promise you'll make friends... coz who wouldn't want to hang out with you?
