I walk so much these days that taking a bus somewhere seems like using a cheat code, but yesterday I did the old UP UP DOWN DOWN B A etc, and wound up over in Magnolia. My first stop was the remarkably huge Discovery Park, which encompasses something like 150 acres. I hiked up to the northern coastline, then walked westward and south from there.

the joys of moving to a new location. wandering aimlessly in a daze. it amazes me when people have lived in an area for a year or two, and seemingly don't know what there is around them. everywhere has something to offer. especially a place like seattle. i'm always fond of my time there. my girlfriends grandmother lives near lake seattle, and we should be back up to the pacific northwest for christmas this year.
