It would depend on the Batman himself. I do believe that he needs to answer to the city of Gotham for the crimes he has committed, but I would first want to give him his own chance to show himself or turn himself in.
I think that we're working to make Gotham a safe place to raise a family and though we have a hard road ahead of us, we're well on our way there. I don't judge those who are doing their best to raise families in the city now, and I think it can be safe for some, I suppose since not everyone in the city is a victim of crimes committed. But I think in my own personal opinion and life that if I were in the position to start raising a family now, I would want to wait.
I miss Gotham, but I can't justify it in my head to move my wife and two kids back to the city. It seems more dangerous now than it was when I lived there.
In some ways it is more dangerous. We're about to go up against a big force in the city and it doesn't stop with the criminals on the street. It's in our police and politicians as well. I can tell you it's definitely going to get worse before it gets better.
I hope on my account as well as anyone who's supported me that that hope isn't a false one. I can see it being easy to slip into that frame of mind, though. I guess for someone in my position who's pushing to make that hope a reality, I can't let myself believe it's a false one.
