Can't say as I did. Beyond the bloody pain, but I'm fairly certain everyone was feeling that. Wasn't much extra less you went and prodded at those nasty cuts.

No other symptoms beyond those correlating to wounds received, I am afraid. When I drank it? It was one of the more painful things I have experienced in my life. A burning not localized to my mouth or throat, but spread throughout my body and certainly hotter at the places I had whorls.

[She could tell him that it had been a bit like drinking argonal, but she very much doubted he'd have anything like that on his world. It seemed that treat had been left for Valdemar alone.]
