((Backdated because I was busy over the weekend with homework sob.))[Valentine's Day. Brendan never really cared too much about it, since there weren't anyone for him to give chocolates to, nor thought too much to give appreciation cards to his friends. *Selene, at first, didn't notice Brendan, and actually hadn't until just before he went to talk to her. He seemed soft-spoken, or something along the lines of that. Aww.

She gave him a friendly smile and responded.* Oho, hello there, dear~ *Did she know this guy? Nope, she didn't recall him, so she continued on.* I am afraid we haven't met, but indeed, there is not a better time than the present to do so. My name is Selene.

[Oh man, she's even more pretty up close! Ack, was he looking like an idiot by just staring at her? Woops.]

O-oh yeah..! I'm Brendan. Nice to meet you, Selene!

[He gave a small laugh as he scratched the back of his head. Wow, her name had a really nice ring to it. He repeated her name in his head a few more times. O-oh man, what to do...]

U-uh, it's a really nice day today, isn't it?

[Smoooth, Brendan. Real smooth.]

*Selene was entirely oblivious, due to her never meeting Brendan before. If she knew him, maybe his demeanor would strike her as a bit unusual, but fortunately for him, she doesn't suspect a single thing.

Also oh. Reeeeeeal smooth, Brendan. You are the man of the ladies. Selene chuckled, however, somehow attracted (in as much of a platonic way as possible, of course) to his disposition. Aww.*

It truly is. I would venture outside to enjoy it further, but alas, *sighs* I need this to ever do so.

*She holds up her closed parasol into his eye view.* I need this because I am not fond of the sunlight. You could say that it is perhaps too strong for me.

[Oh crap that wasn't such a good topic to go on, huh? Darn.]

Oh... I'm sorry about that. But moonlight does look a lot nicer. It doesn't hurt your eyes too.

[Guh okay he should get straight to the point or something. He gets out a small box of chocolates wrapped in rather cutesy wrapping with a bow. There's also a card tied to it.]

...H-Happy Valentine's Day!

[Oh god, he could feel his face burn. He was probably red to the face.]
