I kinda helped out with the gardens... I usually try to stay away from dirt it makes my clothes dirty but it was pretty nice helping out. It got a little too troublesome later because Shroomish kept on trying to eat the compost

Hi Voile!
It's okay if you don't want to answer the questions that I'll ask. If you don't want to, just let me know. =)
Did you evolve from Ralts? Or were you caught as a Gardevoir?
I do know that Ralts, Kirilia, and Gardevoirs are able to sense other living things' feelings. Some Pokemon and humans can have very negative emotions... how do you deal with them? To me, it feels it's really overwhelming to know how other people feel...
I don't mind answering your questions in the least, Brendan.
I was caught as a Kirlia. My trainer eventually led me into evolving into a Gardevoir later on. I've stayed the same ever since then.
Professor Cyrus once spoke to me of my ability to experience other feelings that aren't mine as a bit of an imposition. While that could be true and while it's sometimes distracting because I may not be able to determine if feelings are mine or someone else's, I think it gives me a better understanding of people. It's a price I pay for in order to have good judgment. There are pros and cons to it as there are to any and all things.

Pros and cons... Yeah, if you think about it there are, but I think it's really hard to think that way all the time.
The Pokedex doesn't give me a clear answer on this, but Gardevoirs don't feel the gravitational pull because their psychic powers. Doesn't it get tiring to use your powers all the time, or is it just nature to have your psychic powers support you from the gravity?
It's not so much an ideal as by default that we defy gravity. Many Gardevoir seem to choose to use their abilities, such as the one to levitate, to their disposal. I would say it is more a natural feeling. Not exerting the effort to do that can sometimes be a little overwhelming, especially if a Gardevoir is accustomed to it.
I tend to walk around like everyone else and have done so since I arrived here. In Lilycove, it wasn't exactly the same.

Ah, so it can be each Gardevoir's preference? ...And I guess habits become different when the environment changes too... That's interesting!
Speaking of different environment, I think the food they have here is very different from the overall diet we have in Hoenn. Was it hard to get used to the food here, especially since they have lots of non-pokemon food too? Then again, the cafeteria lunch...bear can make anything you request...
[Teehee, Brendan would be happy to hear that `w`(\]
One could say that Gardevoir are not so different from people. We're very human-like I've come to notice since my travel here. Other Pokémon might not be so similar, but Gardevoir at the very least seem to be almost near representations. We're like little plant people, I would guess.
I don't mind eating the food here, but I mostly eat fruits and vegetables. Of course, nothing beats some bitter pokéblocks.
Re: [Message]hasbandanacapApril 30 2010, 01:36:15 UTC
Hmm, that's true. I think people would make more of that connection especially with the appearance.
Hehe, Pokeblocks! I guess that's where Pokemon and humans differ... I tried eating one that I've made but it kind of tasted weird. Some of the berries taste pretty good, but I guess Pokeblocks are more for Pokemon. Bitter ones, huh? I'll be sure to make some for you next time when I get my hands on some berries!
I think that's all the questions I have for now. Mind if I message you again if I get more?
One of the other Pokémon gave me a berry while I was in a human form and it seemed to taste just as nice as it would have if I'd been a Pokémon at the time. Maybe it's because no matter what form I have, I'm always still one, so it might not affect me at all.
...You make Pokéblocks, though? Really? I didn't know that...
And you ask me anything you'd like, Brendan, whenever you'd like.

Hehe, how nice of them! I think berries, in a way, can be eaten by humans, but we prefer to keep them for the Pokemon. I've known some Mountain Climbers eating them sometimes.
Well it's rare for me, since I focus more on research. When I do have time, I try to make some, though! Maybe when this research gets cleared up I'll try making some!
