I have been neglecting you, pretty much because I didn't want to take the few minutes and actually update this damn thingey... it's like prayer... people only pray when bad things are happening, not when good is in control... likewise with my journal, I only update when i want to bitch about something ( Read more... )

Damn, that's pretty messed up that she SAID she wanted to do more. I can't tell you what to do man, but if that was my partner, we would need to have a SERIOUS talk. And that's something that I would take REALLY seriously...especially with a wedding pending!

Yikes...it's hard to say...I guess in the situation I would tell the partner how I felt about the matter...and if this is NOT an isolated incident, I would want to know WHY my partner wanted to marry me, given the fact that they're flirting with other people.

Having been married myself, I can give you some advice (and it's the same thing everyone I know who's been through a marriage says as well):
1) Marriage is nothing more than a piece of paper. What makes a real marriage is the way you handle your relationship.
2) All the things about your partner that annoy you now will only get 8 times worse after getting married, because you'll be living on top of it 24/7 with no way of escaping it.

I agree.... jeangray July 7 2003, 01:34:46 UTC
If you don't think she'll be faithful in 10 minutes, then she won't be faithful for the rest of your life. Plain and simple. Believe me kid, you have no idea. You're too fucking young to be getting married anyway.........so what the fuck. Where's your head??? Honestly....you haven't put much truthful thought into it, otherwise you would see what is going on. You're both too young to be getting married, and she wants to see what other flavours she can taste. It's not bad, it's just that you guys need experience before you tie the knot for the rest of your lives. Do you not think that's what it means??
