In-Character Information
Name (and age if applicable): Lukas, (Age 14)
Series: Pokemon: Diamond/Pearl (..Plat too. :V; )
Occupation (if applicable): Travelin' Trainer/ Professor Aide in Training/ Student / He has way too many occupations seriously

Personality: "You bet Professor! This will add to the Pokedex database and help advance your research!"

Lukas is just like any other trainer in a nutshell. Dedicated, loving towards pokemon, a bit of a hardhead at times, but, all around, he's a smart kid who tries to be what any other trainer strives for "Master of Pokemon" However! Unlike most trainers, Lukas isn't just a trainer, but he's also a part-time aide for Professor Rowan, blame his father, who's also an Aide, but an official Aide.

There's actually more to Lukas, though, personality wise. He will sometimes let his emotions get the best of him, and it...does make him a bit of a worry-bug (I.E See Veilstone Pokedex Losing), and even sometimes drives him to do something idiotic or, well..just plain dumb choices.

Sometimes, just like any other teenager, he gets all of those things, that...well, it really either just bugs him, or bums him out. His mother remains missing from a very early age, his father was never really too supportive of him, his sister favored his Rival (Dawn) overhim, his grandfather rambled about the old days, and the Professor proves to be harsh on poor Lukas at times.

Despite these couple of flaws, as stated before, Lukas is an all around ...happy trainer/Professor's aide. He strives for success, does the best he can, and helps his rival-friends out whenever he's able to. Even if his family, friends and his mentor bum the boy down, it doesn't get him from keeping on in his goals, and trying to do what he can to make himself stronger as a person and his pokemon too!

Backstory: Born and raised in Sandgem, he lived with a normal looking family. Stay at home mother, a father who worked for the Professor, and his grandfather, who also worked for the Professor. Since he had two relatives that worked for Rowan, Lukas was introduced to the creatures that inhabited his world at a very early age.

When he turned the tender age of five, something tramatic happened to him. It was a nice warm day, the only clouds that rolled by rolled by every so often. He already had a new member in the family, a three year old sister at that! Lukas' father went into the lab that day with his son in tow, his grandfather decided to take a day off to rest. He was planning a retirement after working with the professor for nearly 40 years. (lol I'm probably putting a stretch on it, but he had said that he'd been working with the professor for a long time)

It was a rather slow day, and when they returned that evening, their grandfather greeted them with a question. "Why, did you notice your wife on the way back to the house?" It was true, she disappeared during the middle of the day while Lukas and his father were gone. She didn't leave so much as a note or anything. They looked all about the city, in fact, Lukas' father had even gone so far as to go to the towns that were on either side of Sandgem, alas..their search came up empty.

And Lukas had a vague understanding of what had happened. Even at his small age, he noticed the lack of an important figure in his family. This was the start of his troubles. Despite this, he was still a strong individual, and he continued to follow his father to the lab, and learn about pokemon. In fact, at the age of 9, he was very informed about these pocket monsters. He was also noticing that every so often, a trainer a year older than him came to the lab and picked up a Sinnoh Starter Pokemon.

So he started to think... and before he could ask Rowan or his father about starting a journey... The Professor left Sinnoh to seek information on his research. Whoops, he was too late!~ Though while the professor was gone for four years, he still thought about it.. But of course, he NEVER did speak up to Rowan when he returned! He didn't have enough time to, to be honest. Once the Professor settled in, he was already out going to Lake Verity to discover if it was connected to the legendary Red Garados or not.

They weren't the only ones that day going out to the Lakefront. When they went to investigate, they met Jun and Dawn... Even if it was for a moment. They had their fill, and were returning to Sandgem. They hadn't realized they left Professor Rowan's briefcase with the Sinnoh starters, until Lukas ran back. While they were gone, Wild Starly attacked the two! They had taken the pokemon from the case that they were going to return to the Professor. As Lukas entered the Lakefront, Dawn and Jun recalled their pokemon.

At first, Lukas didn't notice the pokemon were gone, until he saw their pokeballs in their hands. Oh boy, he flipped out when he saw that! Of course, it was only for a moment, before he asked them to follow him back to where the Professor was waiting for him to return. He explained what had happened, and also when the Professor saw how attached the pokemon were for these two new trainers...He decided to ask them about starting a journey and asking if they'd help on his research for the pokedex.

Both Jun and Dawn agreed without a doubt and headed back to their town of Twinleaf. Rowan and Lukas also headed back to Sandgem. While on their way back, Lukas practically begged the Professor to let him start his journey too. He actually agreed to it, and Lukas was really excited at this point. As soon as they made it inside of the lab, Jun rushed in quicker than ever, and left almost as quick as that. Then...Dawn came in (after bumping into Jun of course!) and both Lukas and Dawn were given the proper rundown, and both of them recieved a Pokedex, plus Lukas was given his Turtwig.

They started on their journey, but not before Lukas began to help her out. He showed her what a Pokemon Center and a Pokemart looked like, and they went out to the grass, he showed her how to train and even catch pokemon (also gave her a few pokeballs, since he had a bunch..aparently 8U; ) Although he did go ahead of her, he still returned back to either check up on Dawn, or give her hints/help if needed.

Ahh, he knew she was an awesome trainer, though! She had already passed Jubilife and gone into Oreburgh! After she returned back (Because lol the only way to continue north of Oreburgh was with a bike and she didn't have one at the time..), she found Lukas and Rowan cornered by two Team Galactic Grunts! Dawn took charge along side Lukas and both of them beat down the Grunts. He was so amazed by her power, but then..oh yeah, he totally remembered now! He needed to get his Oreburgh gym badge! After Dawn, Lukas and Rowan parted ways, Lukas quickly took his butt down to Oreburgh City, aaaand went and defeated Roark.

After he defeated him and went from Oreburgh, back up through Jubilife, up through Route 204 and Florama City, up through Eterna City (also recieving the Eterna Gym Badge. 8U; ), cut down the bike path on Route 206, and met up with Dawn on 207. He surprised her with a couple of gifts, Dousing Machine upgrade for her Poketch and the Vs. Seeker! While she went off to heal her pokemon down in Oreburgh, he went ahead into Mt. Coronet, and this is where he found his first pokemon (besides Turtwig of course!) he caught a Clefairy and exited the cave. After escaping to Hearthome, he discovered (Dawn would also discover this, mind you!) that the leader wasn't...actually in the gym? Huh, how odd! He decided to stop and pick up a poffin case and make a few poffins with the berries he had picked up. Lukas only did keep this up for about 10 or 12 poffins strong, before he remembered he was going to the next gym leader! Durr, oh right!

So he left with all of the awesome poffins in his case, he trudged from Hearthome to Route 209, skipping over the Lost Tower (Oh god painful memories of his mother and her lost self ;; ), stopping in Solaceon City. ..Hey look, it's a town full of Cowboys and BABY POKEMON! Okay he stopped a little and watched them play at the ranch. That lasted for only so long, and then he was off. Headed up at Route 210, he turned after grabbing a soda in the cafe to route 215. ..Oh man he wished he had an umbrella at this point! Either way, he trucked on, and he found the last edition to his team! He captured a Kadabra during his rainy efforts to pass through this waterlogged Route.

Of course, he did make it! And into Veilstone he went! Of course, after heading to the center, he...erm, he didn't go to the gym exactly. He sightseed a tad, and went...into the Game Corner. It didn't last long, he exited and actually..wow, Dawn had made it here! They mingled a little (Lukas: Hey Dawn, are you going to take on the gym leader? Wow, you just keep getting tougher and tougher! Me? Well.... I took a look in the Game Corner, and..I mean, yeah of course I've been workin on my pokedex, but...Anyways, keep it up! I'll see you around!) and then Dawn went to challenge Maylene. Before they met again, Lukas ended up tripping in the streets, and some random Galactic Grunts picked up his pokedex.

WOOT! Another Freakout episode for him! He found Dawn after she defeated Maylene, and told her the details on what happened ("Hey! Dawn, listen...I ned your help, I dropped my pokedex on accident and Team Galactic Found it! Now they won't give it back. Please, I need you to help me, I'll be waiting in front of the warehouse. Please come!") and he rushed off to wait for her. He was getting quite furious. He met Dawn, and they tag-teamed the two Grunts. Putting his Clefairy to work! They win the battle, and welp! He got his pokedex back, sooo happy too. (....Dawn, thanks, honestly. If Professor Rowan ever heard that I lost my pokedex... oh, man, that's something I do not want to think about!) Pfft.

So they parted ways once again, and off Lukas went to go to the Gym. He faced Maylene, and went down from Route 214, through lake Valor, past Route 213, and into Pastoria City. He checked out the Great Marsh, adding a few pokemon to his dex, and fought Wake for the Pastoria badge. Aww, he missed Dawn. Oh well, off to Hearthome for that next badge! And Badging get he did. Okay, he was at 5 badges, what's the next badge he needed? Canalave City, oh boy! He headed back to Sandgem to ask for a pokemon that could surf, only...something was up at the lakes!

Oh no a plot twist! Well Rowan and Lukas headed up to Canalave, catching Jun before he ran off again. They waited in the Canalave Library for Dawn to finish her gym battle, then Jun was sent to fetch her. When they all gathered, Rowan explained about the Mirage Pokemon of the Lakes, and he sent everyone to the lakes...Right before an EARTHQUAKE happened! Dawn went to Lake Valor, Lukas went to Lake Verity back home, and Jun went all the way up to Acuity.

While Dawn went to Valor (Where she found out where the quake was), Lukas was already rarin to go at Verity. ...Only problem was, Rowan and himself were having a bit of trouble with Commander Mars. Tiem for Dawn to save the day! \o ..Of course she did. Lukas and Rowan advised her to go see how Jun was doing, and off she went. She was denied entry to the lake, and went to the east to Snowpoint City. After obtaining that badge, she suspected she was strong enough to make it, aaand..off she went to Acurity! Only..Jun had already beaten them, what aww.. Well, almost everyone, Commander Jupiter escaped back to their Veilstone HQ. Anyways, she made it into the building, beat Cyrus, freed the three Mirage Pokemon, only before Saturn attacked her (That bastard!) !

Anyway, while she was doing that, Cyrus had escaped to Mt. Coronet. Which she did find out his plans via Saturn. Sooo, she went to scale Mt. Coronet.. And there were Galactic Commanders there..what. Yikes, double battling them by herself, that had to be scary.

Lukas wouldn't of known any of this, until he came up with the Professor. He noticed what had happened to the scenery when Cyrus had summoned (Insert Diamond or Pearl Version Legendary Here) and they ended up scaling Mt. Coronet to see what was up. Then they saw (insert legendary here)..amazed at the sight. Lukas was much too weak to do it, but he prepped Dawn to confront the pokemon, to try to calm it.

She ended up doing so, and they parted ways once again. Lukas was short three badges from the rest of them, oh he felt so bad that he couldn't get them. Rowan wouldn't let him leave the city for some strange reason. He felt so bad that he couldn't do anything else.. But he knew that the Professor's research wouldn't be over soon at all. He contemplated, and begged to go out to help him on his research..

Even the coldhearted/gruff voiced professor wasn't that harsh! Also with his father's permission (which was surprising. Maybe it was because he wanted him out of his hair or something.. Huh, who knows?) he was able to go back out onto the road.

However, this road took him..way far out of his norm. He knew he was in a different region, just..wow he didn't know at all what he was in for!

What brings this person to Diamond City?: Weeelllp, rumors upon rumors that there were pokemon out of the regions of all types, and of course..Lukas wanted to prove himself useful to the Professor!

Misc. Notes: - N-no, he's not Mother 3 Lucas, no matter how strangely related they seem. (No mother, derpy acting, loving animals of all kinds)
- Surprisingly enough, he's only gotten 5/8 badges. I blame the fact he got pulled into the plot..hurr.
- Berets, he lieks them. \o\
- What is a gijinka he doesn't know what those are and totally can't identify Pokemon while they're in them. Lolol.
