[Huh. Well, that's neat. It was a slow morning and Lucas decided to go take a short walk. He hadn't seen his Togekiss in a while, and was getting sort of worried about him. However, his fear was taken away when he heard the pokemon's cry and he felt the pokemon nuzzle against his face. Lucas hugged him and smiled warmly. Togekiss gave off another cry and lifted his wing. He delivered a letter today... Lucas took it from the Jubilee pokemon and read it.
... New region, Dad was sent there for research, came back with some pokemon....
Pokemon Egg ...
Lucas' eyes turn toward his Togekiss again, looking at the egg perched on the pokemon's back. What. ]
... Whoa.
[He takes the egg and smiles, petting the Togekiss' head.]
.... I knew he trusted me.
[However, the trainer looks back at his pokmon and writes a quick thank you note, attaching it to the pokemon's wing.]
Togekiss, I want you to deliver this letter to my Dad, and I want you to stay with him for a while, okay? I think he'll appreciate you in helping him do some research. Don't worry though, it's not for forever. I promise.
[The pokemon gives off a cry and nods, floating awayyy....~]
Bye Togekiss!
[He sighs and holds his new egg... Well time to show off his new discovery.]
---
[The feed flickers on and there's a boy! What a derp... Lucas is sitting in his computer chair and holding the egg of a certain
pokemon on his lap, his scarf wrapped around it.]
Hi guys! I know I've been kind of out it for a while, but man... It was weird! I felt like I was here, but I wasn't at the same time! ... Kind of like a bad dream or something.
Oh well, I'm not really complaining. So I'm excited about everything coming up! Spring is here, the weather's turning warm, and there's lots of new mysteries to be solved and secrets to be discovered! Like this one.
[Lucas points at the egg.]
Dad didn't tell me what this egg was or anything, all he told me is that it's from some new region and that it's supposed to be something that I can use! ... And I'm supposed to be helping him research, along with Professor Rowan. It seems like as soon as we get familiarized with something, something new comes along and makes us have to adapt.
... Not like it's a bad thing, though!
