i saw em 2 winters ago with LIARS, black dice, and a basically unknown Devandra Banhart. it was pretty standard

oh yeah, my friend saw that show and she said the liars sucked sucked sucked.

this show was standard too but i admit, it was fun as hell. we were up near the front and everyone was moving in this huge mass of people and it was very sweaty. the crowd was actually more fun than the band, in a way, despite all the lame people therein. because karen O was very predictable and choreographed... i didn't realize just how much she wants to be FAMOUS.

i actually liked the show...but i'm one of the few who liked LIARS last album so meh

really?! man. that's a shame, because it's basically too late to start hearing them now... at least, if you're like me, you basically can't like a band that you hear post-hype. i don't know. i say you find one of their songs to know what all the fuss is about.

Exactly, I have a hard time liking groups post-hype unless they're truly deserving of such acclaim.

WAIT! i just remembered that i put a song of theirs at the end of that tape that i sent you a year ago. it's not the best representation of what they usually sound like but if you listened to that song, you've at least heard them. that was the last song they played last night.
