at my school, when you're a senior, you have the option of going on a project-- some kind of internship, volunteer job, almost anything-- for the last month of school. yesterday was many seniors' last day of high school, ever. (not mine.) it's called Lawn Day and, in a tradition started god knows how, everyone brings TENTS to school and sets

Where are you going in the fall?

I have very similar feelings about my senior class. I'm actually friends with many of them, friendly with most of them, and do hang out with a couple from time to time outside of school, but mostly my time is devoted to peopel in other years or other schools. This was cool to read about.

i'm off to the school of the art institute of chicago. (lucky enough to have gotten enough money to go to my first choice.) didn't you say you almost went to northwestern a few entries back?

sometimes i feel like my class is just boring by chance. the grades above and below me both have tons more interesting people in them, and age-wise i almost should be a junior.
