Merry Solstice!
My house is sitting on its lot in such a way that the sun shines directly in through a window at about 10:55 (give or take) this time of the year. One of my "lost" favorite ads, which somebody finally posted - yay!
Now if I could only find the Little Caesars commercial that went up against Pizza Hut's "bigfoot" pizza. I recall the tagline was "which one would you rather put in your mouth?" You need to appreciate ads that are memorable for 30 years. -

The longest partial lunar eclipse in 580 years is happening early Friday morning. The eclipse will be technically "partial", but it will be near-total as Earth's shadow will cover 97% of the moon.
Might be worth a check. The maximum is at around 4am EST Friday morning. 4:02 in this area. -

One thing that I've found particularly interesting about the more formalized study of photography and cinematography is the need to recognize "normal" human conventions. Movie analsis and... fear of persecution?
Our film prof assigned us a sort of "morally ambiguous" love triangle / film noir / suspense / murder movie, and asked the class to post notes on whether we thought it was a love story. Medical "advice"
I've noticed in the last 10 years or so that there are a lot of contractions in medical advice. For example:- Avoid drinking coffee because coffee is high in oxalate. But actually, drink some coffee after all, because it has other compounds that help break down kidney stones.
