Plainy's last weekend

I decided a few weeks ago to not do the surgery. He's too old, it's too risky and it's time to let him go. I'm heartbroken, but it's the right thing to do. The past week, he's gotten really bad. His belly has become so big that his legs are splayed and he's having trouble getting around. He still loves his noms, but I think he's in a lot of pain.

Hi Crystal, I don't know if you remember me, but I was the one who drove out to meet you and pick up the bunny that you rescued from a shelter (he had to have his teeth removed). I named him Peanut. I just wanted to say that he is still around and it's going to be 6 years in February since I got him from you! His girlfriend Arthur passed away in Sept. 2007 and he actually became somewhat more friendly after that but was still very skittish. He's lived in 2 different places in my hometown, went on vacation to VA numerous times, moved with me to Boston, and moved back with me to NY this past Sept. when i got married! My husband LOVES him and so do all his kids (6 stepkids for me-fulltime!). He seems to be less spry than he used to be, but i wanted to let you know that he is still around!
